Occasionally, sports subjects find their way on to this list. It seems to
be
restricted to English and Australian sports. I have to say I wouldn't know
a
cricket pitch from a barrel of pitch but I wanted to address the
professional
basketball fans on the list, now that the finals are underway.
In particular, to fans of the L.A. Lakers, I would like to address an old
Texas saying:
"There ain't a bronc that cain't be rode; there ain't a rider who cain't be
throwed".
The Sixers certainly "throwed" them last night and broke their victory
streak.
(If that sounds like gibberish, you can blame it on spending an afternoon
trying to
track down wiring problems with the Interceptor fans. ;-)
