Nothing serious, your belt is just a little tight. Back it off very slightly and the
whine will go away. In fact, this is my (non-scientific, no special tools) preferred
method of adjusting my belt. Tighten until it whines, then back off ever so
slightly. As your belt is brand new, it's possible you will need to readjust it
after it's run-in for a few miles.
And yes, all JH's behave this way.
