Lots of spot welds to drill out but a very effective and the only real way to
fix the problem. I will send you some pictures of the process tomorrow.

I have been in the process of rust repair and disasymbly so i can send the JH
off for media blast and paint work for a while now. I have removed the
interior, windshield, doors, front fenders gas tank etc.  I welded in the
floor on the left side and removed the floor on right side.  Now I need to do
something about the door sill on the right side and maybe patch the left side
(on the top where the fenders attach)
Does anyone out there have experience with installation of door sills\rocker
panels on a JH.  Any good\bad\indeferent experiences with Delta/Robey etc.  I
purchased my floor pans from delta which needed some holes patched and
redrilled for the trans x-member which is workable on the floors where no one
will see it really but on the sills this could make fender alighnment a
nightmare.  I have been using a mig welder on the floors but i think i will
borrow a spot welder to attach the sills at the top and bottom.  Is this a
job that i should be able to do in my garage without many years of welding
experience and will there still be enough supporting the car if i have the
right side floor and outer sill removed at the same time? or will i need to
suport it before moving along? Thanks in advance.
