Pertronix does not make a Petronix II for the Jensen Healey but they do make one for the CV-8,Interceptors. The advantages to the II can be found at: http://www.pertronix.com/
The pertronix II may be worth a look at even in inteceptors. Petronix claims that they will not make a ver. II for the Jensen Healey but do have them for the big 3 big blocks. One of the best thing you can do on a big block ign. is re curve your dist. and according to pertronix the Ignitor II does something like this, and it looks stock! Also If you are having trouble with the unit you can email them via the above web site. Make certain you have the correct LU142A unit for the JH. You will not have an accurate Tac if you install the pertronix. Mr. Gross and I have been debating if it is worth it or I have it. In one JH that I have it installed in, it seems fine prehaps a little smoother and better spark, the big advantage that I see is no points spark (magnetic pickup). I did buy a Mech. tac. (RCI vs RVI) but have not have time to install and test it. The installation is not that difficult, the second time, red and black wire one to + one to - on the coil, I did not remove the ballast restistor and used a spliter on the coil, it seems to work fine but the rest of you ign. system must be working correctly. Delta should be able to help if you bought the item from them. The stock instructions are not the best.
