GT owners: My GT fuse block which is giving me fits is a
source of problems. First the tail lights went out. I had to
solder the rivet head to the buss. Now more items are not
working. My observation..although the parts of this fuse
block seem to be copper or copper plated and are riveted
together with a rivet of the same composition, corrosion
seems to get between the rivets that hold the fuse clips in
place and the buss itself.
Was it Han Kamp or someone else who took his and pounded the
rivets tighter?
Maybe that is the cure, but careful soldering all the rivets
to the busses might be the best solution.
I am still looking for a decent fuse block using the new
type ATC fuses to replace the original which will solve the
intermittant problems...

Lots of aftermarket suppliers offer new-style fuse blocks. Find a store or
mail order house that caters to street-rod builders. Even J.C. Whitney
offers them.
