RE: shop manuals in electronic format
Have looked at the JENSEN shop manuals in electronic format -
Scan is easy - OCR text conversion is excellent.
Just scanning and conversion to PDF is very poor.
OCR text conversion is essential for clarity.
I have seen examples of scans of Jensen workshop notes without OCR
conversion. I find that very difficult to read. Have heard of pdf of
workshop manual. Not seen. Does anyone know if that was from OCR
conversion? Easy to tell. If a scan, words cannot be copied. If converted
to OCR and copy mode not turned off, then words can be copied. The Acrobat
OCR is of variable use.
If anyone knows, please advise.
Now: if I proceed - there are green pages and yellow pages and white pages.
These will be identified - but if you have a key, please tell me so the
workshop manual will have some meaning.
The illustrated companion parts manual can be included.
Should these be two separate volumes, or should the parts manual be
combined, section by section, with the shop manual?
Work with me.
Would probably add manuals to the WL Memoirs
