Hi everyone, we are looking for community feedback on RC2. The goal is to have JerryScript 1.0 working properly on as many currently supported platforms as possible.
On the Samsung side we are testing on x86-64, x86-32 and ARMv7 Linux as well as on the STM32F4 board running JerryScript on top of NuttX and RIOT. What we can't test (due to lack of devices) and where we need help from the community is Zephyr, mbed OS and ESP8266. If you have JerryScript running on one of the platforms mentioned above, we would highly appreciate any feedback :) To test the release candidate please check out the "jerryscript-release-1.0.0" branch, build and deploy to the device and then either do a smoke test (run a hello world script) or run the SunSpider benchmark and verify that the correct results are computed. After testing please add a comment to https://github.com/Samsung/jerryscript/issues/1125 indicating the platform, git hash of the tested JerryScript and the test result. Hopefully we'll have more elaborate testing on the devices in the future (e.g. a way to run our regular regression tests there as well) but someone needs to add support for that first :) As Zoltan mentioned in the previous email, we intend to release 1.0 on September 2, unless testing exposes any critical blocker bugs which would need more time to get resolved.
