Hi,
First upgrade to 5.0a4; many bugs have been fixed since 5.0a2. If that
doesn't make the problem go away, there is a patch for 5.0a4 that
might be relevant - it is described in the FAQ
(http://herzberg.ca.sandia.gov/jess/FAQ.html.)
