Note that this is a misnomer; source for Jess is available, but Jess
is actually copyrighted, commercial software, and not "open source" in
the correct sense of the term.

I've talked to them. I was invited to join and was interested in
working with them, but there were some logistical difficulties and in
the end I did not join the working group. My understanding is that the
working group has been influenced by Jess' design.

I would like Jess to support this API when it becomes available. I
don't know anything specific about a release date, either for the API
or for Jess' implementation.
