In general I also like the idea of the modules and I also agree that the
usage in CLIPS is rather cumbersome. Nevertheless, it would make my
personal life easier, if it were as compatible as possible.
Maybe it is possible to wrap the same concept into two interfaces - the
CLIPS-style and a more modern (whatever it looks like)? Basically the
neverending challenge to keep a system backward compatible but improve
it at the same time.
