Some good arguments all around. I think what I'll do is let the code
decide: whichever leads to simpler code for the parser/generator is
what I'll end up adopting. Thinking about it, I can make arguments
either way (name as attribute vs. name as element) as to which would
be cleaner: we'll see how it comes out. Thanks for the ideas.
