well as far as I can see your question is already answered by Stephen
;-) Nevertheless here is another reason for RePast - my PhD is going to
be a part of the project which is currently carried out in the
department where I work. There are several universities involved in this
project and the system they all use is RePast. So as you see I really
didn't have much choice...

Just curious... in your opinion, how is RePast different from and/or
better than Jade for building agents? Have you tried scripting RePast
agents in Python at all?
