We're pleased to announce the availability of Jess 7.0 Release Candidate 1, the Rule Engine for the Java Platform, at the usual location:
http://www.jessrules.com/download.shtml This may be the last release before Jess 7 final. All the components are in place and all reported bugs are fixed. This release makes a number of improvements over 7.0b7, including many bug fixes, a schema for JessML, a new example program, and a working "Open File..." in the JessDE. We're doing something new and different this time: in an effort to make Jess 7.0 final as good as it can be, we're running a free Jess T-shirt contest! See here for details: http://www.jessrules.com/contest.shtml Please download this release and let us know what you think! As usual, questions and comments are welcome at jess-users@sandia.gov or directly to me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more details, see the Jess 7.0RC1 manual at http://www.jessrules.com/doc/70 --------------------------------------------------------- Ernest Friedman-Hill Advanced Software Research Phone: (925) 294-2154 Sandia National Labs FAX: (925) 294-2234 PO Box 969, MS 9012 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Livermore, CA 94550 http://herzberg.ca.sandia.gov -------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send the words 'unsubscribe jess-users [EMAIL PROTECTED]' in the BODY of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED], NOT to the list (use your own address!)
