This seminar is for people who know that theology is an
important part of church life, but who are not sure why that is so, or even do
not really know what theology is! The purpose is to explain how we got our
system of beliefs and why that matters to us today. It will also help people
who are not specialists to know where different parts of theology fit into the
bigger picture and how we can discern truth from error. This seminar will look
at the main elements of theology and explain why there are important for us
today. It will help both beginners and more advanced students to focus on our
faith more clearly.
(Seminar ini diperuntukkan bagi orang-orang yang mengetahui
bahwa theologi adalah bagian penting dari kehidupan gereja, tetapi tidak yakin
mengapa demikian, atau bahkan tidak benar-benar mengerti apakah theologi itu!
Tujuannya adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimana kita memperoleh sistem kepercayaan
kita dan mengapa itu berarti bagi kita sekarang. Hal ini juga akan menolong
orang-orang yang bukan ahli bidang theologi untuk mengetahui di mana
bagian-bagian berbeda dari theologi sesuai dengan gambaran yang lebih besar dan
bagaimana kita dapat membedakan mana yang benar dan salah. Seminar ini akan
menekankan elemen-elemen penting theologi dan menjelaskan mengapa hal-hal
tersebut penting bagi kita sekarang. Hal ini akan menolong baik para pemula dan
siswa-siswa lanjutan untuk berfokus pada iman kita lebih jelas.)

U.S.A. Selain itu, beliau juga menjabat sebagai direktur riset di the Latimer
Trustdi Oak Hill
Theological College, London. Beliau menyelesaikan studi Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
in
Classics di McGill University, Montreal, Kanada; Maîtrise en lettres classiques
dan Doctorat de troisième cycle en lettres classiques di Université de
Paris-Sorbonne; dan B.A. dalam bidang bahasa dan Literatur Rusia di Polytechnic
of Central London (CNAA). Beliau ditahbiskan menjadi pendeta di Church of
England. Beliau adalah anggota dari:
