Hi there I read a lot about portlet-communication in the mailing list. There are a few proposals, e.g. StateManager (http://www.mail-archive.com/jetspeed-dev@jakarta.apache.org/msg03039.html) or JetspeedEventService (http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21294). Is anything like this implemented in Jetspeed 1.5/1.6 or Jetspeed 2.0?
Actually what we really need is portlet messaging and an action listener and message listener concept. The user performs an action in one portlet; the action event is processed by the action listener portlet and the message is sent to other portlets (the message listener portlets). Similar to Plumtree PCC Portlet Communication Component (http://www.plumtree.com/edoc/Enterprise_Web_Development_Documentation.htm#I ntegration/Portlets/Adaptive_Portlets/Patterns/PlumtreeDevDoc_Integration_Po rtlets_Adaptive_InlineNavigator.htm#item1) or IBM WebSphere Click-to-Action (http://websphereadvisor.com/doc/11928 ) Is there anything similar implemented in Jetspeed? What about using Jetspeed 1.5 Daemons for that? Thank you for your suggestions.
