Hi all, I am running Jetspeed 1.4-b3 under Tomcat 4, with a MySQL database. I saw in the JetspeedSecurity.props file that it was possible to secure the passwords, by activating the option.
When I turn it to True, Jetspeed encrypts the password keyed in by the user when the one stored in the database has not been transformed, so it is impossible to log in. I have tried to delete the passwords in the database (by erasing the data in the field), but it did not work either... Does anyone have an idea on how to do that? Has someone succeeded already? Thanx a lot for your help!
