This error sounds like maybe the tcpip port is not open? Can you connect to
1433 (I believe) via telnet or something? Also, try getting query analyzer
to connect via tcpip sockets versus named pipes. Also, post your
torque.properties and I can compare to mine.

Subject: Problem of Driver MSSQL Server

Hi,

I'm trying to use Jetspeed on my website with mssql.

So, I began to work without net. I modified the file
torque.properties with my database and the drivers and
it worked.

Now, I try to use this site on the web. So I copoed
all the files and when I want to acces my table, I
have the following error :
[Microsoft][SQLServer 2000 Driver for JDBC]Error
establishing socket...

Any idea? Thankx a lot in advance

Regards,
Matthieu
