JS2: jsp based decorators

Is there any example how to create JSP based decorator templates instead 
of using velocity. I am just not into
teaching new language to everybody in our organization involved with new 
project. It is just way too expensive.
JSP templates are mentioned in jetspeed-2 webpage but I just can't find 
even most simpliest example how
this can be done.
