Hello (again),
I just generated a test project with the Maven plugin for 1.6 to see the
changes compared to 1.5. And apart from the correction of the to errors
of 1.5 (directory for templates was called 'template' instead of
'templates' and the subdirectory for the portlet templates was called
'portlet' instead of 'portlets', which resulted in Jetspeed not finding
them), the generated output is the same.
In case if anybody else was wondering, you will only have to change the
version number in the project properties file of your existing project
from 1.5 to 1.6 (and the location of Tomcat, if you deployed the 1.6 war
file into a "clean" Tomcat enviorment). Everything seems to work just fine.
Regards,
Sven.

Hello,
I have a project (generated with the Maven plugin for 1.5), in which I
put a lot of work in. That's why I don't want to generate a new
project with the Maven plugin for 1.6. Is there a possibility to
convert my 1.5-based project to 1.6? I had a look at the
project.properties for 1.5 and 1.6 to compare them, and realized that
it probably will take more than just changing the version number form
1.5 to 1.6, won't it?
Thanks a lot for your help,
Sven.

Hello,
is Jetspeed 1.6 compatible with 1.5, or will I have to modify my
portlets and property files ? Can I use the Maven plugin like before ?
It is compatible
Use the 1.6 plugin
