Hi,
My project has to use a DSN (odbc jdbc bridge) to connect to the
database.
So I changed my build.properties for the db configuration as
org.apache.jetspeed.production.database.default.name=mssql
org.apache.jetspeed.production.database.url=jdbc:odbc:PBCPortalDSN
org.apache.jetspeed.production.database.user=dbuser
org.apache.jetspeed.production.database.password=dbuser

The Jetspeed installation went fine, data got inserted into the
database(SQL), the server also got started with all the sample wars
deployed, but when I accesses the default page, it threw the following
error,
Questions:
1)does jetspeed support this configuration?
2)I cannot use a type 4 driver to connect to the db (SQL) due to network
constraints, so is there an alternative to solve this problem???
I tried to drop and recreate the db schema generated by Jetspeed, but it
gives me the same error. I use tomcat 5.0.28 and j2sdk1.4.2_10.
