Take a look at WicketPortlet (wicket.apache.org)
I added the ResourceURL feature specifically to be used from Wicket based
portlets.
The Wicket portlet support makes full usage of the ResourceURL (like for
dynamically rendered images, javascript, Ajax etc.)
