I know this is an old thread, but this issue is popping up for me when trying to use a custom Login Module.
I get this in my stack trace: Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program%20Files\Apache%20Software%20Foundation\Tomcat%205.5\webapps\jetspeed\WEB-INF\classes\login.conf (The system cannot find the path specified) It looks like for whatever reason that the java security stuff is URL encoding a path which is the wrong thing to do. So I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten this to work on windows with spaces in the path. We have a number of developers with their dev jetspeed all installed to this location so it will be quite inconvenient to have everyone move their installation. In this documentation guide: http://portals.apache.org/jetspeed-2/multiproject/jetspeed-security/login-module.html It says: "The location of the login.conf file is configured in the security-providers.xml as described below." Does that mean I should be changing this value? I tried specifying some other location with an absolute path that contains no spaces, but that seemed to make the problem worse...
