Use a ServletContextHandler. Don't use ServletHandlers, those are internal structures not meant for direct usage.
Use ServletContextHandler.addServlet() and ServletContextHandler.addFilter() You can add the Servlet as a Class reference, or as a Servlet instances (via a ServletHolder).
