Normally, I'd agree with Lori, and would avoid bringing this wretched and alarming issue to this list, but, to suggest that a proposed boycott of Israeli musicians and of British musicinas' travel to Israel is not relevant to a Jewish music discussion list seems a little short-sighted. However, the details of how we might act can certainly be discussed off-list; perhaps over the next few days those who want to be involved in such a discussion can email each other off-list. I can try to coordinate, if you like, (though certainly not because I have any knowledge or skill doing this!) Then maybe in a week or so, one of us could send a message to the list summing up what plans we've come up with? Judith
