Dear Friends, You are invited to the Carnegie Hall recital of               Joshua Hannum-Izzard, a magnificent American pianist representing the Russian piano school: Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall 154 West 57th Street, New York City Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 8:00 PM "Lyricism, virtuosity, romantic fervor, the works!" FRANCK 2 IMPROMPTUS, op. 90 by F. SCHUBERT CONCERT PARAPHRASE "RIGOLETTO" by G. VERDI - F. LISZT SONATA #7 in B-flat major by S. PROKOFIEV Biography: Born in 1978 in Buffalo, Wyoming, USA, Joshua moved to Albany, New York in 1989, where he took lessons from a Russian-born pianist Eda Mazo Schlyam.  In 1999, he entered the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where he has been a student of Pavel T. Nersessian, a brilliant Russian pianist. Joshua performs regularly as a soloist, with orchestras such as Mozart Chamber Orchestra, "Vremena Goda," and the Aspen Festival Orchestra, as well as a chamber artist in leading halls in Moscow, with standing invitations in Europe, USA, and Russia for the 2003-2004 season.
