Traders reject SDGs ahead of offical exchange deadline
Tuesday, 23 August 2011 19:48 South Sudan >>>

Some traders and service providers in South Sudan have started
refusing old Sudanese currency ahead of the official exchange
deadline.

Some of the traders told Radio Miraya the reason behind their
rejection of old Sudanese pounds is that the queues at the banks are
so long now that they are afraid they won't get a chance to change
their currency on time.

The official closing date for currency conversion is the first of September
