southsudanflagSouth Sudan has won three silver medals in the East African Inter-School competitions in Mbarara, Uganda. The medals were won in basketball and athletics. The Deputy Director of the Co-Curricular Activities in the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, Charles Sokivi Thomas, commended the students for their performance. Some students told Radio Miraya on Friday, that their performance was affected by lack of preparation and training. They also said the rainy weather in Uganda had an negative impact on their performance.
