Hi.
Now I've got JFFNMS running and gathering data, I want to configure it to
email alerts if a certain event occurs.
For example, an interface on a switch exceeds a certain traffic rate, I want
to send an email alert. If an interface goes down, likewise.
Is this possible? I'm particularly interested in the first {sending an email
if an interface exceeds a given data rate} for a number of reasons, not the
least of which is that I have a number of devices on the remote end of a
particular link which tend to start demanding great amounts of WAN
bandwidth, and I need to know if they push the link utilisation beyond
acceptable limits.
Is this possible?
Thanks.
