Jason,

In 0.7.8 to be released in a few weeks, I've added this option.
But the problem you are having (repeated 224 times) it because the CatOS interface are named the same.

Hi
I was wondering if there is any way to have JFFNMS not poll for the status
of interfaces, ie. The UP/DOWN status of an interface. I ask because my
event log is showing many events stating that "Interface short wave fibre
gigabit ethernet Protocol up (Message repeated 224 times)". How is jffnms
getting this info and why is it repeated so many times. I want to graph the
interfaces and this is all. Graphing is all I really need JFFNMS for at
this point in time and it seems want to do quite a bit more by default.
Would turning off "Polling" stop these messages from appearing, but would
that also kill my graphing? Thanks again for all your help.

Jason
