I'm struggling with a couple things. First, I want to to have a trigger that "fires" when an interface is down. I can't seem to get this to work properly, so if anyone has a dummy's guide to making triggers it would be appreciated. I've looked at the trigger debug but I'm not sure exactly what I'm seeing. It appears to fire the default "interface status change" trigger or at least compare to see if it should:
