I can't tell you what, but I'd say you have something wrong on your JFFNMS server. I am running it on an old workstation, it is a 1GhZ machine with 512RAM, the whole "server" has 38 processes running and it using about half of that. I am monitoring only 18 hosts but well over 200 interfaces.
