If this is on a UNIX based machine try tailing the mail log for more information..

[EMAIL PROTECTED] tail –f /var/log/maillog

or if the above doesn’t work,

[EMAIL PROTECTED] tail –f /var/log/messages

 

and watch that as an even trigger occurs.

I have 0.8.1 installed and working OK but I am having trouble with getting email notifications when a port goes down or after an SLA alert shows up in the event page. I have edited the rules in the triggers configuration to send an email from a working email address. I was wondering where else I would look for problems with the email notification or if they syntax I am using in the triggers rules is correct.
