That's because its a hostname, not an IP address.  I'm not sure if all
the pollers will work with a hostname, possibly they will so it would be

Hmm, that is possibly a mis-use of users, probably you want to use
customers.

Of course then I don't think customers can have triggers.  I can
undestand why you would want this.
