Jim, In 0.8.2 we are using the internal PHP snmp2_ functions if they are available.
So if you upgrade to PHP 4.3.1 or 5.0.4 (I think) (The latest) you will have the snmp2_ functions and JFFNMS 0.8.2 will use them.
