It suppresses polling of all the interaces except for the Designated Master

Hi, just noticed that when a host is down, the poller2 goes thru all the
motions of polling that device, when ends up taking very long because
each interface has to time out. Is this normal?
JFFNMS has the concept of DMII or a main interface. I'm not sure if
DMII is down only suppresses alerts on the host or the actual polling.
