It seems it needs object-attribute. Find your trigger, then "View rules" On the last trigger rule the Action is "Send Mail" For the Parameters column you have Subject: make it "<interface-interface> on <interface-host_name> <alarm-state_description>" I think you have interface-* alarm-* and event-* attributes available. http://www.jffnms.org/docs/expanding.html#sec:commonparms lists the interface and event ones, but not the alarm ones.
