Hi all,
we are in search of how to make new poller items.
The documentation is not verry clear to us, howto create new poller
items of our cisco devices.
What is the correct way to create the items / groups and show them with
the auto discovery?
Below is the outcome of the auto discovery of our pix 515 here in the
office:
Physical Interfaces
Add/Edit Index Name Status Description IP Address
Peer Address Input Bandwidth
1 PIX Firewall outside interfa up ***** *****
100000000
2 PIX Firewall inside interfac up ***** *****
100000000
Cisco System Info
1 CPU up Cisco PIX Firewall Version 6.3
pixfirewall.ciscopix.com 1
but on getif, the snmp query says we have more points on measuring, like
memory / connections ...
i tried to add some custom poller items
Cisco Collisions collision snmp_counter
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.25.<index>
Cisco Connections connections snmp_counter
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.2.2.1.5.40.6
Cisco PIX system memory pix_system_memory snmp_counter
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.48.1.1.1.2.1
Cisco PIX number of connection cisco_numer_connections
snmp_counter .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.147.1.2.2.2.1.3.40.6
none of them appear in the auto discovery!
