Hello, Now that the code is in SVN, some changes can be made. The question is of course, what changes?
I did have some code around somewhere that read logfiles and then did matches based upon things it found in the logfile. It was a bit like the syslog parser only it worked on files it could find. What do people think of that idea? I liked it because you didn't need to fiddle with the syslog setup and you don't fill your events database table with rubbish. It would mean the jffnms user (or whoever runs the cron job) needs to be able to read the files. - Craig -- Craig Small GnuPG:1C1B D893 1418 2AF4 45EE 95CB C76C E5AC 12CA DFA5 http://www.enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au http://www.debian.org/ Debian GNU/Linux, software should be Free ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsored by: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards: VOTE NOW!
