I've been anxiously awaiting an update for JFFNMS! Frankly, the last release was nothing but headaches for me (see posts about "admin structure not found") so I've been sitting at 0.8.2 for quite a long time and just putting up with the bugs (length limits in the host field for one...).
I'll be happy to test this new pre1 release and let you now how it goes. I'll likely install on CentOS5 as it is my platform of choice, them move to Debian 5.0 Lenny as that is my backup choice. :-) I'll update the list here with my results.
