Betreff: Re: [Jfs-discussion] HELLO HAL-9000: is software raid-1
supported in jfs-1.0.09?

This question came up in August, I think. There are no reports of any
problem with software raid, but I don't know anyone that is actually
running JFS on software raid either. I was hoping someone else who
tried it would have responded by now. The FAQ is (was?) maintained by
Moshe Bar, but I believe the question about software raid dates back to
the 2.2 kernel where journaled file systems in general were not reliable

on software raid. This is not a problem on the 2.4 kernel.
