With 1.0.14 (CVS checkout Feb. 4th, around 21:00 MEZ), recompiled everything
(utilities, kernel), reformatted but the error did not change (formatting
works, but mount refuses and segfaultes under strace, as does fsck.jfs).
So if you send me those instructions I will be glad to provide you with the
information necessary via xpeek.
