Hello,

I have got linux-2.4 from vger patched with jfs-1.0.15 . The patches
applied cleanly.

I have rebooted with the new kernel and created a jfs partition on my
second disk (/dev/sdb1). I have copied some stuff (my /var directory) onto
that partition and rebooted. Upon reboot, the sdb disk had no partition
table. As I was dumb enough to remove the /var partition, it will take a while
before I can try to repeat the experiment ;^).

Cheers,
florin
