jfs_fsck is acting funny.  It seems to be aborting somewhere in Phase 1
without an error.  This isn't supposed to happen.  Normally, fsck
continues on to phases 2-8.

Can you run jfs_fsck -fv against the partition?  This may tell us
something.  If not, I may have to send you a debug patch to try and
determine where fsck is bailing out.

I think we still have a chance to save it, if I can figure out what's
broken in fsck.
