:o!

Ok, paste special. I never used that as the paste special dialog always
came up for me when pasting to word.

That's good to know for when it doesn't come up.

Thank you.

Kimsan, I tested this before posting, but I deceived myself. The key combo
is actually control-alt-v. I just tested this one, too, and I think Tech
Devil isn't cackling at me this time.

When pressing that key combo we should see options, before or after
selecting text? I did it both ways and after pressing that key combo, I
down arrowed and no options appeared..

Windows 10 pro, IE 11 and jaws 17.

Try shift-control-v, then arrow down through the options.

Subject: JAWS 17 and Copying Web text

Hi List.

I'm having a brain freeze here, and I can't remember for the life of me
which setting I need to alter to allow me to copy and paste text from a
webpage into a word document?

At the moment what I'm copying is not what's being pasted!

I've been into the Settings Centre, but I can't find the relevant check box,
or even recall what it is I should be looking for. My stumbling about in
there is getting me nowhere in a hurry!

Any and all help gratefully received.

Thanks.

Darran
