Yep, it is checked.

I think this is another bug in Jaws 17.

I do press the jaws key+z twice until it says keep checked for all
applications.

It just won't stick.

The only way I have found to fix the problem, is to perform a jaws repair or
even uninstall removing all shared components and user settings and
reinstall.

 

Sometimes it will get fixed for a while if I reboot. I wonder if somehow the
configurations that jaws reads into memory are being scrambled.

 

I called FS tech support. They blamed it on me having window-eyes and NVDA
on my computer.

Hi Philip,

 

1 other thing to check is to open Jaws options & open Basics.  Tab to, Show
Virtual Viewer on Screen, & make sure this checkbox is checked.
