Hi, Ann. I'm afraid that didn't work for me. In Word 2010, control-alt-o brings up "Outline." I searched through an FS list, but in vain. At last I found the answer at the website of an organization in Arizona. To bring up a list of objects in Word, press control-shift-o.
That said, it's a clumsy way of reading a document. In this case, there are ten objects. In each instance, I press enter, as you suggested, and JAWS pauses, then reads the text in that box. I'd like to have the entire text in one straight narrative. I converted the document to a PDF and a TXT file using more than one conversion program, but the result every time was unintelligible. Any ideas about that, anyone? The address for the list I found, thanks to the great state of Arizona, is: http://www.atarizona.com/docs/Blind/BVI_JAWScommands.htm -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Anna Byrne via Jfw Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2014 6:44 AM To: The Jaws for Windows support list.
