I'll admit I was badly spoiled by using a full-bore study Bible for fifteen
years. That's what I'm looking for again--footnotes, historical intros for
books and major sections, preface to Old and New Testaments, Dictionary,
concordance, the works! My old Deluxe even had a small word processor that
came in handy from time to time, and mark-up capabilities for those who love to
scribble in the margins of their personal Bibles. What's more, it was
plug-and-play, no futzing around, except for custom punctuation settings. As
it aged, it developed a few quirks along about JAWS 8 or 9, but I was able to
work around them. In line mode, it scrolled so fast that it would go to the
end of a chapter, lickety split, and then stop reading at the end of what
should have been the first screen. Sentence mode cured that problem, but then
it tended to break down on some of those run-on sentences--lists of names, such
as David's retinue, or who begat who.

No, this is not the same program, but I would love to see logos bible software
be scripted if it is possible.
