This is from CathyAnn Murtha's Outlook 2010 textb ook:
The majority of the display is used by the navigation pane and folder
list. The navigation pane is on the left side of the display, the
folder list is in the middle and the reading pane is on the
right. This is the The reading pane is in the view menu. Alt-v for
view, then tab to the reading pane. There is a dropdown list. Press
enter on none.
AutoPreview
Within the view menu of Outlook, the "current view" can be set to
"Preview." This shows the first few lines of an email with the
subject of the message. You can configure the font of the
AutoPreview within the next section of this dialog.
Following the font button is a series of radio buttons. Use UP AND
DOWN ARROW to select from among the following:
* Preview all items
* Preview unread items
* No AutoPreview
