Bruce, Which word processor are you using?
When wishing to isolate paragraphs, I go through documents with the MS navigate by paragraph keystroke, control+down arrow. In your first question, when you say "stop," do you mean pause? If you do mean stop, JAWS can read by sentence but not by clause. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sexton, Bruce via Jfw Sent: Saturday, July 19, 2014 11:57 PM To: The Jaws for Windows support list. Subject: stopping at a comma Hello list, Does anyone know of a way to have JAWS stop reading at punctuation marks like commas, semi-colons and periods, instead of just at periods. Also, related, is there a way, while reading sentence by sentence, to have jaws indicate that you're entering a new paragraph? I am studying for the law school admission test's reading comprehension section and it would be useful. Thanks, Bruce -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
