Since I went from Firefox 30 to 31, the JAWS cursor shows nothing in
Firefox.

Louise,
Some time ago when I was having trouble with Google search on Firefox, I found
a Google address that is specific to Firefox. The address is convoluted, but I
just tested it, and it works:
http: //www.google.com/firefox?clientfirefox-a&rlsorg.mozilla: en-US: off
%20icial
I'm not experiencing the "repeat" problem you're having. Note that Firefox went
to version 31 just yesterday. You can check which version you have by pressing JAWS
key+control+v.

Subject: FireFox help
Good morning everyone I am having problems with Firefox and I have windows 8.1
Jaws 15 and the latest Firefox.
First I yesterday had some help from a friend to help set up Firefox and Google
Advance search and we got a message it couldn’t find it so we went to internet
Explore and did the same thing and we were able to add it. I am at the point of
wanting to learn to do searches and Firefox is my main user for the net but it
seems to be giving me problems.
If you know a setting please give steps in an easy way for me to follow.
Does others find that Firefox repeat things like when you open it. Echo is off
my friend checked and turned that off. Is there anything in Jaws to help with
this? If I haven’t written this for you to understand please ask questions and
I will answer Louise and Hawk
